The Samuel L. Greitzer Award
The Samuel L. Greitzer Distinguished Coach Award is given each year for outstanding service to a regional team. For many years, Dr. Samuel J. Greitzer, Professor Emeritus at Rutgers University, coached the United States IMO Team. Since 1992, the ARML Executive Board has presented the Samuel J. Greitzer Distinguished ARML Coach Award in his memory to recognize outstanding service to a regional ARML team. In honor of his or her commitment to mathematics students and the ARML organization, the coach is presented with an inscribed plaque at the annual ARML Competition. Students, coaches, and parents are invited to nominate a coach of their ARML Team. To nominate a coach, please provide the information requested below along with the specific reasons for your nomination. Nominations must be typed, cannot exceed one page using 12 font, and must be sent either as a Microsoft Word attachment to Joe Caruso at jlhopital@aol.com or mailed to him at 13 Governor Fuller Road, Billerica, MA 01821. ***All nominations must be received by January 15, 2009.
